This gives the retailers that acquire the police trade-ins a large surplus of ammo and other equipment, often high-quality and lightly used, if at all.
Shopping police trade-in specials here (or anywhere) is one of the cheat codes to save on top brands and ammo, and often you don’t even need to buy bulk quantities to get those deals. You just need to be in the right place at the right time.
All the same, don’t sleep on a police trade-in deal. It might be here today, but it could just as easily be gone tomorrow, and these deals don’t replenish themselves, so if you find a good deal, strike while the iron is hot .
By the way, when you’re shopping, look out for “LE” trade-in, too. That stands for law enforcement and it basically means the same thing.
