BUCKING HORSE OUTPOST PACKAGE PROTECTION POLICY

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF PURCHASING PACKAGE PROTECTION?

Package Protection represents assurance from Bucking Horse Outpost that if something happens to your order in transit, we will remedy the situation in a hassle-free, expedited manner.

It can be added to your order at checkout and the cost will be a percentage of your order total.

If packages are reported as lost or damaged within 30 days of purchase to service@buckinghorseoutpost.com, we will quickly investigate and get a solution in motion, whether it be replacement or refund. Please note we do request photos of packages that are delivered in questionable or damaged condition.

If packages are returned to BHO Fulfillment due to one of several reasons cited by carriers (see bottom of page), we will reship to you at no additional expense.

NOTE: AN ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT IS MANDATORY WITH PACKAGE PROTECTION

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY PACKAGE PROTECTION?

Package Protection will not cover the cost of reshipping an order that is returned due to user error. To clarify, if an order is deemed undeliverable by the carrier due to incomplete or incorrect address information, the customer will be contacted by BHO for address correction and billed for reshipment. If the order is to be cancelled (per customer request), a refund will be granted less a processing fee of $10.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT PURCHASE PACKAGE PROTECTION?

If packages are reported as lost or damaged within 30 days of purchase to service@buckinghorseoutpost.com BUT Package Protection was NOT purchased with the order, we will open an investigation with the carrier and file a claim if appropriate. If damage or missing items are reported, we will request photos. Once details have been confirmed, we will refund the full amount of the purchase. Replacements will not be granted without Package Protection.

If packages are returned to BHO Fulfillment due to one of several reasons cited by carriers (see below) BUT Package Protection was NOT purchased, we will reship at the customer’s expense + processing fee of $10 OR we can refund less a restocking fee of $10.

Please note the above detailed processes may take a little extra time without Package Protection. As is the case with any policy posted on this site, some limitations or exceptions may apply.

HOW MUCH DOES PACKAGE PROTECTION COST?

The cost for Package Protection is calculate at 8% of your order total.

 

REASONS PACKAGES MIGHT BE RETURNED TO THE SHIPPER (BHO) BY THE CARRIER (UPS OR FEDEX)

  • Incorrect address / physical address not able to be found by carrier
  • Unable to deliver package(s) after multiple delivery attempts.
  • Package delivery refused
  • Hold expired or package unclaimed by recipient
  • Lack of valid proof of age/identification
  • Carrier processing error
